Hi! I'm Ashley Paxton M.S. CCC-SLP
I’m a speech language pathologist (SLP) with 10 years of experience helping people communicate. I have had the joy of working as an SLP in early intervention, public schools, charter schools, teletherapy, and clinics. I like to say that I began my teletherapy journey before most therapists had to do it.
I love teletherapy!

In 2013, I completed my B.S. in Communication Sciences & Disorders at Biola University. In 2016, I graduated with my M.S. in Communication Sciences & Disorders from Chapman University. I maintain speech and language licenses in both California and Texas. I hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
What Makes My
Practice Different?
I believe words have power. Words can build others up and be used to speak life. At Speak Life Pediatric Speech Therapy, I help children communicate, so that they can speak life to others, words that are grounded in truth and love.
Virtual Speech, Telespeech,Teletherapy…
Whatever you call it, many families are choosing speech therapy via telepractice and here’s why:
Convenience
As a parent, I know how busy life is with kids! Telepractice allows your child to receive speech services in the comfort of your home. It allows you to listen in on their sessions and be an active participant. There’s neither a long commute nor an uncomfortable waiting room. Quality speech services delivered to your child in the comfort of your home!
Limiting Barriers
Whether you live in a rural area, work full-time, have a packed schedule, or your local clinic has a six month waiting list, there are many barriers that prevent families from receiving speech therapy services. That’s why I started this practice, to serve families in need today!
Research Supports Effectiveness:
Research confirms that telepractice is as effective as in-person speech therapy. Just take a look at these studies!
